What is Fame Games

Fame Games is not “just a music radio show.” In fact, it’s nothing short of a revolution in how music is selected and promoted today. Fame Games gives the best independent artists valuable A&R opportunities, advice and career guidance, as well as a potentially massive new audience through network radio play based on merit (finally!), compiled daily using a sophisticated song evaluation system.

Fame Games introduces discerning listeners to the very best new music, produced by “undiscovered” independent and “unsigned” artists. Shockingly, the quality of music which reaches the top of the Fame Games charts easily rivals (and often outstrips) the quality of music listeners are force-fed by national network radio and TV.

In an age where money and who you know talks louder than talent and what you know, it´s refreshing to find a band that still believes hard work and great songs should be the way forward. Israel´s missFlag is one such band. Borne from the friendship of five individually talented musicians, missFlag has been steadily carving a niche for themselves since their inception in 2005.

This is in no small way thanks to the diverse musical influences that the five members of missFlag bring to the band – from jazz to classical, fusion to rock, the music of missFlag is testament to the musical education the members of the band went through before finding each other.

But perhaps it´s not the musical range and diversity that finds missFlag on the verge of their international breakthrough – rather, it´s the message of hope and self-belief that can be found throughout each song on their debut album ´To Infinity´. Reaching out to the world from Jerusalem and surrounded by everyday conflict that most other bands could never understand, missFlag refuse to be drawn into any political statements, and instead share their hope through music that we can all live as one.

From sublime anthems such as the beautiful ´Run´, with its belief that even the poorest relationship can be saved, to the live favourite in waiting that is ´Let It Show´, missFlag show they can stand beside such luminaries as Coldplay and Snow Patrol and not be overshadowed. For further proof of missFlag´s place in the indie world, you only need to listen to ´Hidden Thieves´, perhaps their signature song, and one that shows the range in song-writing strength the band possess.

With ´To Infinity´ in their back pocket and North America in particular beginning to pick up on them, missFlag are now ready to step from out of the shadows and take their place amongst the established bands of the genre. It´s been a long and often difficult road, but the end destination is finally in sight.

´´missFlag was founded by five musicians with a very strong passion and will to create original, exciting and emotional music.
Every band member comes from a different musical background, the result being missFlag´s unique sound.

missFlag´s members are extremely dedicated to their music having played together for over a year. The band is currently located in Israel but hopes to take their music world wide.

missFlag recorded their first EP in January 2006, which is available for download on the band´s website (www.missFlag.com).

The E.P has recieved great feedback from fans and industry professionals alike, a notable achievement being the The Indie music radio station ´´´´Fame Games´´´´ (www.meermusic.com/famegames ) picking the song ´´´´Hidden Thieves´´´´ as Track of the Week and rating it as their highest rated song.

Due to the success of their E.P, in July 2006 missFlag set off to record their Debut Album, their goal being to create the best product they can make, with a production that meets the incredibly high standards of the music industry.

missFlag brought in the successful L.A. producer Guy Erez, who has worked with many well known artists (the Gipsy Kings, Ryan Cabrera, Randy Coleman, and many more), to produce the album.

The album has just moved from the recording stage to the mixing and mastering stage (done in L.A), and will be completed and released in October.´´
