Full Bio
On a hot Summer day, in rural southeast Texas, Sammy Hundley began bending the strings of his first guitar at the impressionable age of 15. The operative word in the last sentence is ´´impressionable´´ because that was exactly how Sammy was. He soaked up the musical influences that surrounded him in those years. It wasn´t enough to be able to learn it and then play it - Sammy had to make it better somehow, he had to take a piece of music and own it before moving onward to something else. It wasn´t about showing others what he could do, it was simply about the music and the joy that it brought, the joy that became his life. It was always ALL about the music and that´s never changed.

Sammy Hundley has become well-known to Houston audiences. Over 25 years of tireless dedication to the study of all genres of music, teaching & entertaining has produced this dust-bowl diamond-in-the-rough.

Short Bio
Sammy has been writing songs since he was 12 and making music since he was 15. He plays guitar, bass, piano and sings.
He has been in several bands around Houston in the last 10 years or so. He now has an acoustic album called ´´House Full of Nothing´´ and is finishing up his new full-production disc. Last year Sammy worked with Mike Parrish (Parrish-Hundley) releasing the album ´´Texas in the Man.´´

Sammy´s new album ´´House Full of Nothing´´ is now available for purchase. It is a collection of acoustic and vocal recordings that reveal the bare-bones style that Sammy has become known for around Houston, Texas.
A full-production album is, as he has said for years, forthcoming! Just a few more vocal tracks and overdubs and this and that...you know how it goes!
