His debut album “Mahogany Love” is due out in June. The name represents the true nature of the album, a natural raw acoustic sound (leaving the listener wanting more in regards to instrumentation and production) Mahogany Love is embedded with distinctive vocals, metaphoric/humorous lyrics, simple melodies and guitar lines that hold a strong back bone to every piece – Oh, and the odd beatboxing. As the album was recorded in a bedroom on a digital 4 track and condenser the reviews on myspace, fame games and the official website have been awesome. After releasing the track ‘Mahogany Love’ fans, reviewers and new listeners have been raving about the new sound and are pushing for the album to be released. Watch out for Jon Hart Band.
Jon’s performances have also been noticed by many. His strong stage presence and audience interaction creates a powerful atmosphere for a solo artist. His humorous and imaginative storytelling between each track has become a key aspect to his performance listeners have regularly commented on this aspect of his show and regularly join in with the fun/friendly atmosphere.
After graduating in 2006 with a BA Music Degree at Southampton University Jon toured the Southern parts of the UK throughout late 2006 and 2007. In 2008, he joined the established rock band Zhain as their frontman and began touring the UK and Los Angeles where he met and played with Luther Grosvenor (Ariel Bender - Mott the Hoople and Steelers Wheel). Apart from receiving a load of praise from listeners to legends alike, Jon has gained more knowledge, more gigging experience and raised the bar at every gig with his unique frontman performance. Jon left the band to concentrate on his solo career, as this is where his heart lies.

Jon Hart is a lively singer-songwriter based in London (originally from the Isle of Wight). Inspired by artists including Newton Faulkner, Jason Mraz and Jamie Cullum, his distinctive blend of contemporary acoustic blues and jazz has crafted a natural development to becoming an artist to look out for.
