16-Aug-08: Sevens I think?Nice vox but the song was not distinctive enough to rave about.Very proffessional vibe and delivery though.
SFXCriteria: "MELODY - meaningful lyrics and that indefinable edge that doesn´t sound quite right but at the same time sounds absolutely perfect! WARNING - when you put your new music in my ears you are asking for a genuine -non sugar coated response. If you dont like it ,read it again and you may learn something.".
What makes a hit: "In my experience the object you are aiming for is spot on.Crossover potential(Hit potential -same thing) is vital and I feel that ths is often overlooked by both some artists and reviewers. We all have our pet likes and dislikes but to me this has got to be put to one side if you are to be a good reviewer.
So often I get slagged of by both artists and reviewers for being too ´Harsh´They should understand that you can have a well written and produced song which does not say anything new and as such has limited merit except of course with your Mum and Dad and family and friends. As far as the importance of hit potential in a song and does it matter? -What in hell kind of yardstick would you use to judge Fame Games otherwise!

16-Aug-08: THIS IS NOT GOING TO XOVER.maybe I have got the values of this contest wrong but this will never have mainstream appeal and the ban d know this so why enter the track on the show? Airplay -sure -but I think we need to revisit the criteria here.

16-Jul-08: i love that its tight and well played - i can hear the vocal enough but in a way thats a blessing cuz its not a vocal but growling which is pretty normal for this genre - i would mix this up with a real vocal now and then if you are looking for crossover - otherwise you probably already rule the thrash market

16-Aug-08: A good album/gig closer here, I think. I like the sound of this band, there is an energy about them, and the material that I´ve heard so far is really good. The production is slightly messy - a little bit more time would benefit them, although it´s important not to lose this live feel that they have. Sounds more American than Northern Irish to me - largely because of the accent the guy sings in. I´d watch that. Good stuff though.
KenMorrisonCriteria: "Any magic spark. It can be originality or familiarity - or a combination between the two, perhaps? Either way, I like to be able to hear that real effort has been put into it. I like to hear that an artist has absolutely done the best he or she can do with his or her labour of love. I hate to hear laziness. ´´That´ll do´´ just won´t do!".
What makes a hit: "What makes a hit? Dropping the ´´S´´ off the front of the word as often as not! Other than that, lots of sales, usually.".
Favourite Genre: Rock. Powerpop. Pop. Absolutely anything though. If it`s great, it`s great. Genres are just pigeon-holes really, which can create dangerous limitations..
Favorite artists: ...too many to mention really....
Hero: George Best , Larry David and Captain James T Kirk..
Instruments: vocals, guitar, bass, and stuff.
Past Credits: Been in bands since 1982! Thousands of gigs. Hundreds of songs. Dozens of bands. A couple of life lessons..

Songs: about 600 probably. Only about 3 good ones though..

30-Jul-08: This song kicks it from the beginning, really great. The vocals nearly perfect, the guitars are fantastic. The classic rock song and the finally with the rock and roll chant is just sweat. I am becoming a big fan of the daze project. Great work.
sidsoundsCriteria: "the tune is the most important that it has melody and timing, the lyrics and the way they are driven to the listener and over all feeling".
What makes a hit: "I think a hit is hard to define i have heard some great songs but never marketed and therefore never in the meanstream charts. It must come down to personal taste and the more people buy it the better".
Favourite Genre: I listen to all music, pop, rock, country etc that list could go on forever..
Favorite artists: U2, Robbie Williams, Bonnie raite, grath brookes, Willie Nelson, Led Zepplin, Pearl jam, Billie Holiday, P diddy, Britney Spears and the list goes on.

16-Aug-08: This voice is stunning! The song comes a poor second although the performance is assured Sadie has a major careeer in music if she can find the right material.
".

15-Aug-08: Does anyone else want to kill themselves right now... sorry that was a bit harsh... I did get very bord with this song... but this lass has a great voice!!
KeeperCriteria: "If a song a song makes me smile, and I think it is good then thats it! update".
What makes a hit: "Obviously nowadays hit potential is not important as most songs in the charts nowadays dont deserve to be there. Some indie music out there is so much better than the current ´´hits´´!!&
