Latest review: 14-Jan-10: This track has not diminished my opinion that we have a great band here.Super energy with a vocal to match the high octane drive this band produces.My only reservation would be the general commerciality outside the rock fraternity,However the rock fraternity is by no means inconsiderable so you never know.Great listen.

Latest review: 01-Feb-10: Wow, a pop song that isn´t depressing. Why can coldplay try that one out! This is a nice piece of motivational music to get going for the day. It´s rather poppy though and not sure about it´s longtime value. Great new artist to famegames though.

Latest review: 09-Feb-10: Will´s pop sensibilities are again on display here. This bloke certainly knows how to find a catchy melody! The smooth vocal, structure of the song etc gives me the impression this song could fit in on mainstream radio.
My only concern is the Savage Gardenesque sound and how saturated this area is. I can´t help but think that he may need to find a signature somehow, so his songs sound immediately like Will Champlin, and not every man and his chihuhawa.
Having said that, Will is unquestionably a fine talent and deserves to be out there with the best.

Latest review: 09-Feb-10: Some songs need a second listen in order to understand what the artist is trying to do. This song needs another listen just cos it´s so bloody good first time around! I´m buzzing, my foot is tapping and I´m feeling euphoric after another listen.... and I want to hear it again. That energy is amazing!
Beta Rays set the bar higher and higher. This band can really do no wrong. To the reviewer who criticises this song, I say that if it was any more original it´d be too avant garde to relate to. These guys have a sound of their own which is instantly recognisable without any submission ever sounding like any other song. They are totally original but still somehow familiar in the influences and sound they mould. That makes hit potential as far as I´m concerned.
From the opening drum barrage, the menacing, screaming guitars (with a hint of Star Spangled Banner in the intro?), the killer melody, the harmonies, the tight-as-**** rhythm section to the guitar solo, this song is brilliant. Once again I´m ecstatic and want to get up and dance around my room to Beta Rays

I may not be the biggest metal fan here,but I know a tight,together band when I here it,and you guys fit that bill..I think this song is a great album track,but in my opinion not strong enough to crossover as a single.However,as with any great band,one great song,that´s all it takes.Super listen.

Latest review: 09-Feb-10: This Q-Show is like a ´´who´s who of Fame Games´´! Countless artists up against each other already who are normally in the Finals together.
Midori & Audioclique deliver again and this should go further. The arrangement is lovely. The little ´´la-da-da´´ moments are great to get people to sing along to. The harmonies are just where they should be, the walking bassline is fun, the feel is.... a carefree summer day. I like it!

Latest review: 09-Feb-10: Another giant of the Fame Games stable! This is just what you´d expect from SGD -- perfectly pop melodies, tight musicianship and a professional sound in every way. The only thing that stops these guys from convincing me they´re imminently destined for greatness is the genericness of their sound. This could be by sooooooo many other bands from the last 15 - 20 years and I wouldn´t know the difference. I´m not sure this is a breakthrough single, but it could easily do well as a follow-up single or feature on an OST, and will be a great addition to Stars Go Dim´s album.
Don´t get me wrong - this is a great song and the talent these guys radiate is clear. I´d just like them to forge their own sound and put thier stamp on their next submission. I expect that will nothing short of the top quality that SGD consistently produce.

Latest review: 18-Jan-10: Suoer song,great vocal and good musicians. What ruins this song for me is the syncopated drumming,in my opinion, it just doesn´t fit at all. I find my attention wondering towards that syncopation instead of enjoying what is a superb song and performance, I still rate this highly though.Please get rid of those bongos.
