Here are the qualifiers for Edition 230, as sourced from the Green Room. All entries are open for reviews, and continued votes. Votes and reviews received during the Green Room stage are carried over. Songs which do not qualify for the Main Edition 230 (which will air on Friday, the following week), will remain open for more reviews and votes. The highest scoring contenders from prior "Q" editions are also competing against the current entries. NOTE: The show airs terrestrially across the States and with our other affiliates first, and will be made available for listening online in the morning of the next day.

Latest review: 04-Jul-09: I think people here have been suggesting for some time that what Twaang needs to top off the material is a strong vocal over the top. Hurrah! Here we have it! And it works well. The playing is great as usual. Possibly not nestling with total comfort in crossover territory, but will appeal to a huge number of people. Good stuff.

Latest review: 04-Jul-09: This is certainly something very different for here, both in terms of song and voice. I do get a deja vu about the melody, although I have no idea why. Is it based on a classical piece? Sorry - forgive me if Iīm wrong. I probably am. Either way though, the result brings a really interesting direction to the fore, and makes for a haunting and fascinating listen. And with a bit of production embellishment, we might have something truly remarkable here.

Latest review: 04-Jul-09: Good one. Nice piano playing, setting the song slightly apart from the rest of the material Iīve heard from them here. Song-wise too, itīs a bit different - a bit more prog rock I think. Really nice. Unfortunately when the full band kicks in, the production gets a little messy and definition is lost, which is a pity. I think what these lads need is some guidance from a good producer (dont we all?) to properly set them on their way. Then the skyīs the limit...

Latest review: 25-Jun-09: My air conditioner is broken, and this song somehow just brought it up a few more degrees. Something about the slide guitar makes the weather get hotter. This is pretty smokinī stuff, Iīd come in with the hook a ton sooner.

Latest review: 23-Jun-09: Oooh, practice, practice on this...so many notes that arenīt on the money. Good sound and song...very Goo Goo Dolls... but do a few takes on some of the intro notes with the verses, you seem really shakey.
