For over two decades, Brent Harvey has garnered a solid and respectable reputation in entertainment business. In addition to producing concerts, film festivals, charitable fund raisers and awards shows, Brent has been listed as one of the top ten artist managers in Los Angeles by Music Connection Magazine, as well as being honored twice as "Manager of the Year" by the Los Angeles Music Awards.  Among Brent’s recent accolades is Executive Producer of the Hollywood Music Awards.

Brent began his producing career at age fifteen with "The Second Annual People's Festival" in Anchorage, Alaska featuring twelve bands, in twelve hours on two flatbed trucks and was featured prominently on the front page of the Anchorage Daily News. Shortly thereafter, he joined a touring band and traveled two years throughout Canada and the Western U.S.  in 1977, Brent landed a position with The Red Onion Company, one of the most successful and profitable club chains in southern California.  The sixteen years he spent there refined his experience in production, programming, promotion and talent buying as Entertainment Director. In 1993, he left to start his own business.

KBH Entertainment was founded in 1994 as a entertainment consulting, production and management business. In 1996, Brent was asked to co-produce the 6th Annual Los Angeles Music Awards. After the overnight success of this event, he was asked to produce the following three LAMAs, leaving a string of success stories he brought to the regional awards including Save Ferris, Zebrahead, Alien Ant Farm and Black Eyed Peas. Since 1998, The Muscular Dystrophy Association has Brent oversee logistics and secure world-class headline entertainment for their charitable fundraisers including Foreigner, Dennis Quaid & The Sharks, Eddie Money, Sheila E., Edgar Winter and The Family Stone to name a few.

Film festivals, such as the Temecula Int'l Film & Music Festival, retains Brent (2004 to present) as Executive Consultant to provide celebrities, oversee festival logistics and insure high production values. Celebrities secured for this festival include Lou Gossett Jr. (actor), Trevor Rabin (composer), Smokey Robinson (music legend) and Bryan Singer (producer) and many others.

Brent co-produced the infamous Exotic Erotic Ball (San Francisco) in 2003 and subsequently franchised this outlandish bash the following year, resulting in simultaneous "Balls" in Seattle, Chicago and Miami. That same year, the TNT Network asked Brent to serve as Production Manager for the network's coverage of the Los Angeles Lakers Western Conference Championship playoffs. He also served as Production Coordinator of pre-game interviews and post-game analysis.

Brent's television show development experience includes the Sundance Film Festival's "Where Music Meets Film" featuring the world's biggest music stars including Joss Stone, Lindsey Buckingham, Daniel Powter, Jason Mraz, Josh Grobin, Sean Lennon and many more.  Shot and edited as a one hour special for network TV, Brent brokered a deal with a network television show to broadcast additional concert footage and backstage interviews over 26 weeks, in a 30 minute format, beginning Dec 2008.  Brent is also currently working with Fender Musical Instruments on events related to the 50th anniversary of Motown.  In addition to event production, Brent works with many of Hollywood's top music supervisors, licensers, publishers and producers with placing and licensing music for visual mediums.

As a publicist, Brent has orchestrated two wildly successful international publicity campaigns. The first was for Ecstasky Air, a unique privet charter jet service, which resulted in feature articles and photo spreads in 150 publications and thirteen television shows world-wide.  The second campaign was for Currency Motorcars, again securing massive international coverage for this burgeoning auto company. Brent is also a sought after public speaker for entertainment expos, conventions and industry panels.

As Executive Producer and architect of the Hollywood Music Awards, Brent continues to create new and innovative productions that offer opportunities for emerging artists and industry professionals alike.  The first HMA event occurred November 20th, 2008 and was a major success.  Pre-production for the 2009 HMA is currently underway.
