LIFE ALONG THE GULF COAST OF MISSISSIPPI IS MOSTLY RELAXED BUT A GOOD STORM OR TWO ROLLS THROUGH EVERY HURRICANE SEASON REMINDING US THAT NOTHING KEEPS LIFE IN PERSPECTIVE MORE THAN NATURE ITSELF!!! I´m a sixteen year old singer/songwriter, born in Mobile, Alabama and now live along the coast of Mississippi. I´ve enjoyed growing up in a small, warm and friendly community. The culture is richly diverse, musically as well as other arts, food, etc... My father plays various instruments and has introduced me to many genre´s blues, jazz, rock, classical, gospel, cajun/zydego, etc...
´´LET´S JUST BE´´ is a song I wrote about two people who inspite of all the things in life that pull them apart seem to end up back in the same place - TOGETHER -and so sometimes realtionships are just meant TO BE!
The song ´´NOT GONNA APOLOGIZE´´ was just so much fun to create. I wanted to reach people who are in relationships where they are constantly having to apologize to someone for their partners behavior and how theres a point where you just can´t do it anymore and in reality it is your partner your really SORRY for and moving on is just what your gonna do.
´´MARY´´ was lyrically inspired by the legendary lead singer/songwriter ADAM DURITZ (of the COUNTING CROWS) - I wanted to pay tribute to him personally in this song with the line ´´She´s COUNTING CROWS perched on a limb and only ADAM knows where she´s been´´! He once contacted me personally via MySpace to wish me luck before one of my first gigs - THANKS ADAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! )
