Born and bred in Bonhill, a rather dapper government built housing development in the Vale of Leven, a stones throw from Glasgow. Tommy was showing heavy interest in music from a young age. From listening to his papa“s country and western tapes, Johnny Cash in particular, when he was younger and progressing to his old mans vinyl collection in his early teens then finding his own music in the likes of Oasis, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Tommy has moulded his own sound well. After eventually picking up the guitar at 16 he just set out to “learn a few chords and write really good fucking songs“ and its safe to say he“s already achieved this in tunes such as Nothing and SwimWalkTheLot. He has played well over 200 gigs and been writing feverishly since he strummed his 1st 2 chords. His song “Nothing“ appeared on Matchbox Records The Big Indie Comeback Vol.1 in July 2006 and he has gigged around the country.Also a Guitar Hero 2005 finalistIn Sept of 2007 Tommy played at Retrofest at Culzean Castle on the New Acts Stage. West of Scotland based singer/songwriter, Tommy has been playing solo acoustic gigs for the last 3 years since the demise of his last band the Whisky Bandits.
Gigged up and down the country and had his song Nothing released on a new bands and artists CD called The Big Indie Comeback Vol1.
